Thompson Cirpack Broadband telephony
Voice over Broadband harnesses the packet transmission principle, enabling multiple simultaneous calls and high-speed Internet accesses via a single line per subscriber. IP Voice Termination
Thomson's Cirpack telephony platforms are the ideal transit switches for VoIP carriers. Their superior design makes it possible to deploy wide infrastructures with many nodes close to PSTN termination points, while leaving considerable scope to scale up to support traffic growth. They support a wide range of legacy protocols to connect to the PSTN in any manner, including nearly all SS7 variants (ISUP, TUP, etc.), as well as Primary Rate Interface (ISDN PRI) and R2 signaling. They also handle both SIP and H323 signaling to peer with any other VoIP carrier and use the best route for each call.
Thanks to Cirpack platforms' advanced routing features (e.g. dynamic routing, trunk reselection, least cost routing, call duration control for pre-paid, etc.), wholesale carriers can deploy feature-rich transit networks at very low cost without compromising on power and reliability.
